Annual levy reminder

Due to the obligation imposed by the Cypriot House of Representatives of a permanent
and annual administrative fee in the amount of EUR 350 (“Fee”) for all companies registered in the Cypriot Registrar of Companies (“ROC”), we wish to inform you that the concerned Fee is to be received by the ROC before 30 June, this year at the latest.. The obligation to pay the Fee in the year 2015 concerns all companies, including the so-called shelf companies. The exceptions are companies in the process of liquidation or strike-off.

In case of a delay in paying the Fee, the ROC imposes penalties on the companies in the amount depending on the time of delay (specific information below). The companies that do not pay the required Fee may be struck off the register by the ROC. At the same time, we inform you that the Clients who do not pay the Fee within the abovementioned time limits (it also concerns companies for which the Fee was not paid in previous years), and wish to restore the company, are obliged to pay the amount of EUR 500 if the restoration is within 2 years from the strike-off from the ROC, or EUR 750 if the registration is after 2 years from striking the company off the ROC. Additionally, as the duty of submitting the Fee came into effect in 2011 the penalties for that year do not apply and if you did not settle the Fee for 2011 you can do it this year in the amount of EUR 350.

Summing up, this year’s Fees, depending upon the date of payment are as follows:

  • The Fee paid till 30 June 2015 – EUR 350,
  • The Fee paid between 1 July and 31 August 2015 – EUR 385 (Fee of EUR 350 and penalty of EUR 35),
  • The Fee paid between 1 September and 30 November 2015 – EUR 490 (Fee of EUR 350 and penalty of EUR 140),
  • The overdue Fee for 2011 – EUR 350.

To process the payment of the Fee, please inform OpusTrust in writing – in response each of you individually will receive a debit memoranda amounting to EUR 350, on the basis of which we request you to transfer the required amount to the OpusTrust bank account. Subsequently, OpusTrust on behalf of your companies will transfer the amount concerned towards the ROC. The abovementioned debit memoranda shall be sent to you by e-mail by May 20th 2015. To fulfill the imposed payment deadline, the Fee ought to be paid before June 20th, this year at the latest.
